Ayurveda, which literally means the science of life, is one of the oldest medical practices dating back 5000 years. The essence of Ayurveda is to bring “who you are out” by removing imbalances both in the physical body and the mind. When we are free from suffering, we begin to find passion and meaning in life and our true spirit blossoms. According to Ayurveda, we are what we digest, not what we eat. Based upon one’s quality of metabolic strength (agni), we may be ingesting the same food but find a different outcome on the back end of assimilation. For thousands of years, Ayurveda has shown us how to heal various ailments by looking at our individual gut health, and now Ayurveda is becoming a focus for research on health conditions related to obesity, heart conditions, diabetes, arthritis, auto immune, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, strokes, and many more. Yoga is a process of uniting the body and mind. It is also a process of how we engage with the world around us to create harmony. It involves developing a deeper sense of awareness and then taking action from a place of balance. Through practices such as physical movement, pranayama (breathwork), and meditation, we can balance our nervous system, cultivate a deeper sense of clarity, and improve our vitality.

Growing up in Nepal, Manish was exposed to Ayurveda from an early age, creating a foundation for his deep connection to this time tested medical system. He combines the traditional system of Ayurveda with the modern biological system’s approach to health and healing. Manish is a board certified Ayurvedic Doctor by National Ayurvedic Medical Association, USA after earning a masters degree from Mount Madonna Institute, College of Ayurveda in 2012. His signature evidence-based Gut Healing Protocol, is intended to heal the community one gut at a time. It integrates diet optimal for one’s unique constitution, lifestyle changes such as circadian clock to harmonize the bio- rhythm of nature, and Ayurvedic herbs and spices as part of the healing.

Naushad is a former collegiate soccer player and tech startup employee turned holistic health coach. He helps high performing individuals and teams overcome chronic pain, develop healthy habits, and improve wellbeing. As a health coach, he empowers you to discover your own wisdom and strength to move beyond obstacles to behavior change. He holds you accountable, supports you without judgement, and partners with you in a thought-provoking discussion to maximize your personal potential. As a mind-body coach and therapist, Naushad weaves together meditation and breathwork practices, functional strength, yoga, corrective exercise, primal movement, and qigong. He guides you through improving movement quality, and enhancing body awareness to build sustainable health and longevity.
