Do you tend to get colds and flus in Winter? Preventing sickness starts now with what you are eating! During the summer the body tends to accumulate heat. This heat will turn to dryness in the Fall and in Winter will irritate the sinuses. This dryness in the sinuses will make the mucus membranes react by producing more mucus. This can lead to colds, flus, and bacterial or viral infections. It is important to eat seasonally and regularly cleanse the body to get rid of excess build up of toxins (ama) in the body. Your way to heal is through what you eat!
